Time For Spring
Spring has sprung, today's the day
The day is bright, we yell "hooray"
The flowers are bright as they all come out
Birdies and bunnies are hopping about
Everyone seems to love the spring
They all laugh and they all sing
Now We seem to neglect the negative stuff
And how springtime can be pretty rough
So now I will make it quite easy to see
How springtime has an effect on me
The pollen and cotton that flies through the air
That angers my lungs and leads to despair
It's cold in the morning and hot in the noon
I'm wearing a sweater and dressed like a loon
It's hot in the day and then cold all the sudden
My shoes are now soaked from an evening of muddin'
The sun in the sky gives me red sunburn
"Always bring sunscreen " but I never learn
It rains and it pours and never ends
Stepped on my sunglasses and they now have a bend
Spring can be great and spring can be fun
But look out for the puddles when you go for a run
Now when spring is gone and done
summer is the time for lots of good fun
