I come from having 3 siblings in the family,
I come from living at my grandma house up until the age of 3.
I come from a quiet neighborhood.
I come from the land of the free.
I come from playing video games with my brothers,
I come from being teased by my sister.
I come from learning how to ride a bike, and then taking off.
I come from teaching myself how to develop artistic skills!
I come from taking road trips with family.
I come from taking modeling classes!
I come from advancing to another level!
I come from loving Japanese animation!
I come from always wanting to be alone most of the time.
I come from liking the color green.
I come from having a special blue ring since I was 7!
I come from having people encourage me to keep drawing!
I come from loving spicy food.
I come from having fun friends.
I come from loving the indoors like a cat.
I come from trying to develop any skills I have to do great!

This poem is a autobiographical poem, so it was about me that's why I chose to write this.

Poetic Device
The poetic device I used to do this poem is simile on the second to last sentence, “I come from loving the indoors like a cat.” It’s a simile because I used the word ‘like.’ Another poetic device I used was stanzas, because it’s how I sat up my poem. I also used sensory detail on the fourth to last sentence by saying the taste of food. The last poetic device I used was punctuation by putting periods and commas.
Writer’s Strategy
The writer’s strategy I used to complete this poem is litany. It’s a litany because I used the same phrase ‘I come from’ at the beginning of every sentence. I also used autobiographic poem which writing about myself. That’s what I used for the writers strategy.
