The breeze rustles through the leaves.
As a blue jay sings in the oak's upper branches.
I look to my left to see her sitting there, her back against the tree.
Of all the places she could be, she is here sitting next to me.
Her smile like the sun, forever warm and bursting with life.
Her eyes like the stars, shining and full of hope.
Her laughter embraces me like the warm summer breeze.
When she looks at me I know what she will see.
She will see me sitting next to her, her hand held in mine.
Our backs braced on the old oak tree.

Logan, I enjoyed this poem. I think it could have some more description added to it, but overall it was a good poem.
