This is half of a drawing that I did, inspired by characters in one of my favorite book series (Maximum Ride). Its in pencil, but my ancient scanner messed the quality up. Oh well...

i like to draw maximum ride characters and i could never draw the wing that good. you've got all the right feathers in the right spots
