The Bridge of Sighs
Pen and ink, 2011. This is the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. It is so called The Bridge of Sighs because years ago, it was used to transport criminals to their cells, and it was said that the prisoners would sigh when they took their last look at the stunning Venice scene before being taken to their cell.
