When I was in 6th grade my friend almost made all of think we were going to die, it all started when I was going to go trick or treating, but that year was a litte different my parents had some of our wrestling friends over, because two of my friends Colton and Mason just moved to Montana and they were coming back to visit. However I was already planning on going trick or treating with my friend Ethan who lived in my neighborhood.

After we went trick or treating that night we went back to my house and played with some board games, but after a while we all got bored and my friend Coloton had an idea, “Let’s go ding-dong ditching”. Everyone agreed. So we got ready, put our coats and hats on and went out.

After a while we were all the way across the neighborhood and as we were about a block away from my friends house we decided to ding dong ditch this one house, it looked newer and it was two stories with an office right next to the front door with a younger man working, so we all decided not to but Colton left the group and ran as fast as a cheetah to the door and rang the doorbell. Everyone else turned around simultaneously and dove over the nearest snowbank to hide. But the guy saw Colton as he was running to the snowbank so we did the only logical thing, walk away like nothing just happened but once we walked away he followed us. He kept following us. How long is he going to follow us I wondered?

After about an eternity, at least that’s what it felt like, of us being terrified he was going to kill us, Ethan and I, who knew the neighborhood, decided on a plan to go to the end of the nieghborhood and run through the woods to my house, this was the worst idea we could have had. As we go through the woods we get ate alive by all of the mosquitoes and gnats in the woods, but we made it home safe and not in any trouble at all so I would call it a success.
