"The Dome is the Only way to victory.
It helped King Arthur extinguish his enemies
As well as many other great Kings, but
Victory comes at a price."

The Dome was located at the center of our village. It loomed over people through work and play, but no one payed any attention to it. It had just grown into part of the background.
One day, the village was attacked and enslaved by our enemies. These enemies, known as the Tassles, were a warlike race that destroyed or enslaved everything in their path. There was no such thing as victory when you came up against this warlike race. This was the beginning of a long arduous trial.

For the next 10 years, we just continued living as if nothing had happened. It became normal to be slaves until I remembered that there is more to life than slavery.
My wife and I tried to start a rebellion. When the people did not comply we tried to escape in order to find help, but we instead were imprisoned for a week. It was then that I remembered the legend.

Since my wife and I were slaves we figured we had nothing left to lose. So we entered the dome to find victory. Within the dome was a great room with an altar in the middle as well as a sign that stated:
"Do not enter, you can never be fully victorious."
But I ignored it. We went up to the altar and on the altar was a knife as well as a coating of blood. The inscription on the altar says:
"Place your hands on the altar, and Victory will be yours."
So I did so. This I soon found out was the greatest mistake of my entire life...

Years later, when I was an old man, the village was free and victorious, we had defeated the enemy and were developing into a great nation. This empire, later known as Rome, was begun by me. I passed it on to who I saw fit and I controlled this nation for the rest of my life. My one regret, was adding one line to the end of the legend:

"The Dome is the Only way to victory.
It helped King Arthur extinguish his enemies
As well as many other great Kings, but
Victory comes at a price.
And you can always give up something, you have never lost everything."
