The Last Realization

I grinned and slammed on the gas pedal. Finally, I had gotten the keys and stuffed them into the ignition. The train whistled as it sped toward the car. My foot pressed into the pedal harder- I was going to live! Then, I realized something. It was my last realization- ever. That was not the gas pedal. It was the brake.
