Roger heard Paul leaving the the compound the next thing he knew he was showered with dry wall and heard a loud bang as Pauls car exploded. Soon after heavily armed men came crashing through the front gate in an armored van. Roger grabbed for the machine pistol he had hanging on the wall and began returning fire. Mitch came running out of the basement with an m60 and tore through the cover and began throwing grenades at the van. He reached and helped Roger up.
“What was that all about?”
“Just a rival gang trying to take our gear you know. Things get worse in the jungle out here, we are not in the states anymore.”
Mitch yelled to some other men in what sounded like vietnamese.
“Well lets go Roger we got to make the sale now.”
Roger was sent to Vietnam by his employer to sell three truckloads of old wwII arms and some cheap ak47’s. Almost enough for an army. He didn't question it because he had learned that that was bad business especially before a big sale, the biggest one yet.but the buyer had ordered 5 trucks of old weapons. Roger jumped into the passenger side of the jeep Mitch had at the front of the truck convoy.

After a few hours of winding through the jungle they finally reached a cluster of huts with armed men wearing black. Mich hopped out and said something to them and they were waved in. When they got there they were taken into a cave dug into the ground. The cave was fully lit and looked like it had been stocked with food.
“Roger wait here I will do the talking.”

Roger stayed there and several dirty guards were eyeballing him. When Mitch was done Roger was relieved to leave that cave.
“Who were those men? They weren't some gang they almost seemed to be military and they are getting ready for something.
“Roger what is the first rule in our line of work?”
“Dont question the buyer.”
“Yes its for your safety and so that you can sleep better too.”
Roger didn't argue because he knew that what he said was true. But he was still worried about what might happen because he had possibly armed a small army for who knows what. He was on a plane back to the compound and he tried to sleep but he couldn't he kept thinking about all the bad things he has done throughout his life and all the possible problems he could have caused today. The next morning he went to the airport, while on his way there he heard about the U.S. entering the Vietnam war. That moment he knew what he had done and he couldn't stop it.
