Snow in Vail
It was Christmas morning in Vail. I woke up and ran outside hoping there would be lots of snow but sadly there was none. The morning was hot and dry and there was no snow to be seen. I sadly went back inside knowing that there was no snow. A few weeks after Christmas, it started to snow. It was a cloudy day with very cold weather so I waited at the window for the snow to fall. The snow started to fall and I became super excited. I grabbed my snow boots and ran outside and started to make a snowman. The snow started to fall heavily so I went inside. The next day I woke up and looked outside and the snow had stop and begin to melt. By the end of the day, the snow was gone and the heat took over. Winter was only one day that year and many ski shops had to close down. From then on, everyone new winter would not come again and there was not much we could do about it.
If you are reading this please remember that winter is a fun time of year that we could lose if we don’t start being careful! Try to start helping by doing the little things like turning off lights or riding your bike places instead of taking your car.
