Small Voices
Tina entered the E.R, at an emergency page by Kayla, to clean up a little six year old, and get her stitched up.
She was there with her mother because her father was accidentally shot, and the little girl got a few scratches on her face. Lola’s husband, Mindy’s father, was in the O.R, where doctors were trying to save his life.
They found 12 gunshot wounds in Mindy’s father. Doctors came to the conclusion that 12 gunshots were no accident. After Tina finished Mindy’s stitches, Mindy asked, “Is my father going to die?’’
Tina replied and said, “I don't know. His doctors are doing everything to try to save him.’’
“Why won’t he die? I shot him lots of times,” said the smallest voice in the room.
