I wipe the wetness off my face as I went down the court. I haul the court as fast as I can as the crowd is chanting, “5..., 4…, 3…,” I lofted ball in to the air. I looked up at the hoop on my hands and knees. Then the annoying buzz of the score board goes off. All you can hear is swish. Then everyone starts chanting, I can barely breathe as our fans emerge off their seats and come onto the court. Then, just in seconds I can see the top of everyone’s heads and hands in the air. I scored the winning shoot and our team won the championship. I was full of emotion, as I wiped the tears off my face. After the crowd lets me down I squeeze my way into the girl’s lockers room to relax and enjoy the silence.
