Hair
We both have brown wavy hair. Wavy hair like the ocean. Brown like an old oak tree standing alone in the yard. His hair is slightly darker, mine with cinnamon-swirled highlights. Different but similar. Both a thick curtain of silk. When we wake up, our hair looks like a lion's roar. The soapy shampoo soothes our waves in the shower, calming the lion. My hair is air dried and straightened, his blow dried and sprayed with hairspray to stay in place. Our hair is like our relationship. We are different but similar. He loves being around people, like a fly on the wall. I love watching movies, all curled and cuddled up in bed.
