I go to sleep in the hospital room. I hate being hooked up to all these machines.
The priest stared down at me, reciting the Hail Mary.
I closed my eyes. Preparing to do this all over again tomorrow, I opened my eyes. “Where is everyone? Why is everything white? Where am I?”
