Nighttime Scare

Home alone for the night, suddenly I hear a noise. I tense as my dogs look toward my bedroom door. No one's home, so where's that coming from? The sound happens again. I realize it was the sound of the ice machine downstairs making ice. Feeling stupid I relax and fall asleep.
