The Cup
There was once an empty glass sitting on a full shelf. The glass would spend its days watching as the more favored glasses were chosen to be used. It was so dirty on the shelf and he dreamed of being used just to be able to be put in the dishwasher for a good clean. Being bought on a vacation as a souvenir, the owners were too afraid to use the glass and getting it dirty due to it being so expensive. Little did they know that they were doing more harm than good. The glass fell into a deep depression knowing he will never be used. One day there was an earthquake that shook the whole home, knocking over everything, including the empty glass. He fell on the ground shattering, putting an end to his poor wasted life.
