A Dragon's Autumn
The dragon looks over the world.
The fire of his brethren is evident everywhere.
He becomes visible, a white apparition among the blue.
Not many of his kind exist in the sky today.
The fire-ones shimmer through the reds and oranges, deepening the colors, with wind-brothers to help them on their way. The path they traveled crackles and crunches as they pass through.
Suddenly, his companion-of-the-sky moves, and the brightest, the Lord-Over-All bursts through.
The wind dragons whistle their appreciation.
The ground-dwellers burst forth, re-energizing to continue their travels, constantly eroding and changing the land.
New sky-brothers and sisters come, and the Bright One is blocked out again.
The dragon disappears, waiting for the next scene.
