Run Away
In the days of the dead; we lived. We walked across this deep, dark land, in attempt to get away. Our fears were following us, taking rides from the greying clouds.
The further we ran, the quicker they came. Across the mountains, through the oceans, along the beaches, through the trees. They always caught us. We have learned from experiences; me, my friends, my family, my people. No matter how far you run away, they’ll always show up. It isn’t until you turn around and show your strength that they’ll be the ones to turn and run.
We have learned that running away isn’t the key, turn around and face your fears, then they’ll leave you be.
