Walk Alone
I saw him walk on the left side of the street
I walked on the right, I saw him wave
We were same but somehow different
All the same the street kept me on mine
And him on his side, we walked away
Later, we saw each other it was magical
Like the fish finding water and stopped drowning
This time he smiled, but it dropped quickly
I smiled from my side of the road to myself
Then he was gone for good because
We are too different everyone says
I disagree, but because I said nothing
I am stuck walking alone on the
MIDDLE
Of the road
And with that I have lost a once in a life time chance
