The Winning Shot
Taking the winning shot, all the pressure is on me. I can hear the crowd cheering. I feel so nervous because if I miss I have let my whole team down. I can taste my sweat dripping from my fore head. Then when I shoot the crowd goes as silent as a mouse. The ball hits the backboard and is spinning round and round the hoop. I see the expressions on the crowds faces. Then the ball goes in and everyone screams and shouts. I smell the sweaty feet as we jump up and down full of happiness as we have just won the championship.
