1st Installment
"Ok, I need to get to know you. I want to write about you but I'm not sure who you are yet. What can you tell me?"
He stands on one foot, his right tracing designs in the dirt and gravel at our feet. Not in shyness or embarrassment, just giving his busy mind something to do while he waits for a better question. I'm the shy one in this situation.
"Ok… whats your name?"
He gives me a small smile, as if I should've known better, "how can you name me if you don't know who I am?"
