The Trial
I started following my trail when I was still hopeful. When I was still bright eyes and confident and happy. When it was ok not to get into an Ivy League, or get the best class rank or get a perfect SAT, so long as I tried.

It swerved to a dark place full of loneliness and dissatisfaction. But I’ve been following my trail for so long, I’m not sure I’ll be able to step off
