Reminiscence
The thundering sounds were unbearable. Tears rolled down Johnny’s face as he covered his ears in despair. The explosions and flashing lights were a surreal event. This is what we had fought for as a country. My little brother Johnny was able to uncover his ears as the 4th of July firework bonanza concluded.

Love and Friendship
The decision was made and the day was planned. Everything was working better than expected. Around home in the family church, the groom stood patiently awaiting the only one missing. Seeing her father in the seats and realizing she wasn’t showing up, he turned to his best man for help… “Where the hell is Brian?”


With Patience Comes Glory
Three years of hard work and practice seemed to be leading to nothing. Since freshman year, he had been pounding weights and running laps becoming a physical specimen. Football is a ladder of experience and talent, and he was gaining on both exponentially. State football game 2008, Weber in at wide out for the glory.
