Fake it till you make it.

Many years ago, during my childhood, I accompanied my father to the city to sell watermelons. I was afraid that my classmates would see me, so I desperately tried to hide myself, trembling with fear along the way.

Looking back now, that road was lined with lush green trees, and the sunlight was refreshing. If it weren't for my fear of facing my own imperfections, I would have surely witnessed many beautiful sights. That road, like any other road, should never have been avoided.

On a summer day long ago, when I was still a timid and fearful child, I went with my father to sell watermelons in the city. It was a routine for him, but for me, it was a great test.

I was afraid that my classmates would see me, afraid of being ridiculed by them. So, I desperately tried to hide myself, not wanting to be noticed by anyone. Every step of the way, my heart pounded with fear, and every gust of wind felt like the mocking laughter of my classmates, making me even more anxious.

Yet, as I reminisce about that road now, I feel a different emotion. The road was adorned with lush green trees, and the sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The gentle breeze carried a refreshing touch as if nature was comforting me.

I realize that if I hadn't been so afraid of facing my own imperfections, I would have been able to appreciate the many beautiful sights around me. Perhaps I would have noticed the wildflowers swaying in the breeze or heard the joyful melodies of birds perched on tree branches.

That road was just one among many, which should never have been avoided. The same principle applies to other aspects of my life as well. Hiding myself won't bring true happiness and growth. Only by courageously facing my imperfections can I truly savor the beauty of life.

Now, as an adult, I no longer fear the ridicule of my classmates. I have learned to face myself with confidence. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and explore opportunities that I once feared pursuing. Because I understand that only by bravely confronting difficulties and challenges can I truly experience the wonders of life and the joys of personal growth.

So, I embark on a new journey, walking towards unknown paths. I no longer retreat, for each road has its unique scenery and miracles waiting to be discovered. Whether rough and rugged or smooth and easy, I will courageously move forward, embracing the challenges and wonders that life presents.
