boredom
i was sitting in the neat little lounge room in my first house. i was resting my head on my hand and staring out the window. jack my friend was sitting across from me. laying down on the cheap second hand couch staring at the roof. we were totally bored.
'jack' i asked 'how would you describe bordom'.
he dident get up but just stared at the plain roof. he was probably the smartest kid in school and he took his sweet blody time thinking about things. well it gets him A,s at least.
'nothing else really grabes you by the gut and screams as much as boredom' he said 'maybe except fear but. has anyone of us expereanced true fear?'
'waddya think jake' i said 'of corse not'
'just pointing out the facts' he said simply.
'when you can happily bust out of the house and yell at people CHEESE MUFFINS' i said.
'hey ya know what' jake said
'what' i said in the dragged out way so it sounded like WWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTT.
'prank calls' he said smiling.
we both dashed up stairs to the nearest phone to kill our boredom.
