London and Matches
London and Matches
I am a seller named Sergio who lives in London. The mornings are always cold and dry in the alleys, where I sleep. I have no home because my parents are gone so I have no shelter. I sell matches just to make money to buy food. In London it’s hard to live there because people mistreat me and they even try to rob me. I’ll go back to this alley beside the trashcan where I live. I live a little outside of London where it’s safe. I try to stay out of trouble but when I get hungry I always have to steal a loaf of bread so I won’t go hungry. When I sell matches I always fight a kid for my turf saying this is where I sell matches. But one time when I was asleep I was taken to this couples house were they fed me and care for me. So I stop selling matches and my new family sent me to school to get my education. Now I’m in college getting my doctor degree and my life has been the best if it wasn’t for my new family.
