Meaningless word, Forever.
You promised forever. Forever was to long. It became overwhelming, sicking even. Forever was there, sufficating, pressing us down. It held us back. Forever was the bars that locked me inside, taunted and unsure.
Forever was the word you used and the word I took to heart. It was the word that gave use laughter and hope, at first. Forever, slowly became the word that was hated. The word kept us together, but at arms length. It was to much. Over bearing of it all. The word itself was so much of a promise itself. It meant to much yet nothing at all. It was a word we were bound to break, a word we did break.
