Dear __________ (2)
Dear God,
Why? My only question. Will you answer it.

Dear God.
A full stop makes things sound final. As though I’m saying ‘Hello. This is me. Now goodbye. That’s all I have to say.’ When I know it’s not true. There’s more. That small dot on the page signifies me in comparison to you. I’m tiny. I’m nothing.

Dear God,
The world carries on spinning. That’s what I’ve learned. No matter what happens, no matter how embarrassing, terrifying, no matter how much you want to curl up and cry, everything continues the same, your not big enough to have an impact on the world. No-one cares.
