Mary's Heartbreak
“I don’t want you anymore.” His words spoke with hate.
Mary’s world shattered. She cowered to a back hallway and sobbed. Her world, the reason for
her being, the light at the end of her tunnel, turned its back on her. She couldn’t find reason. Her chest
wanted to collapse. Her heart sunk into darkness. No one could help her. Her one love was gone. Every
promise, broken. Every memory, tainted. The voices of friends faded out, as she realized she cannot live
without him.
Life had never been this cruel.
Dying seemed peaceful, and now an absurd option.
