Dear New York University
Dear New York University,
My heart is at your school. My heart is at your school, but not because I love it like he does. My heart is at your school because Eli Crane took it there. He ripped it out of my chest, tucked it away into his dark green carry-on bag, and boarded that plane. Home is where the heart is. He has my heart. Thus, home is where he is. He is at your school. Your school is my home, and I am dreadfully homesick.
Enclosed is my application. Thank you for your consideration. Have a nice day.
Anna Martin
