Crying Out
I am crying out but nobody is listening.
My calls are loud, but they do not make noise. They can be heard through the hollowness of my eyes, through my unkempt appearance. The scars on my wrists scream for help, but everyone’s ears are deaf.
I beg and I beg for attention, for someone to please just notice me, but I am bad at using my words. The way I look, the way I act, should be enough for someone to wonder, but everyone’s eyes are blind.
I am tired of asking for help and being ignored.
