Jake's life
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jake, he was a really bad kid. He was very aggressive and mean. He was a troublemaker. He would always steal things from the store, go around messing with people’s stuff and he did not go to school. His parents couldn't deal with him anymore and they did not know what to do with him. They would always try to help him and talk to him but he wouldn’t listen. He would always Ignore what they had to say even though they were saying the truth.
His parents did not know that he was having a hard time in school. He had friends that did not help him, they would always encourage him to ditch class and do things he wasn't supposed to do like trying drugs, messing around with girls, all those things that would lead to something bad. He thought all of this was okay because he really didn't care about his life. He would treat people with disrespect and he would always find a way to bring people down. He wanted everyone to suffer just like he was suffering. He started getting worst and worst as the time went by, he rarely went to school and he did not care about his life anymore, he spent his time smoking and drinking with all his “friends”. His parents gave up on him and they no longer tried to help him they just looked at him with disappointment and they never said anything to him which made him go even more down hill. He was always having suicidal thoughts, he always brought himself down and told himself that he did not deserve to live, he would always say that he was just a disappointment to everyone that nobody liked him.
One day he tried committing suicide. He found some pills and he swallowed drink every single one of them. His parents found him just in time to take him to the hospital and save his life. He was mad at them. He told them that he wanted to die, that he was tired of living. This made his parents realize that they were doing bad in not supporting him. They signed him up for therapy and they encouraged him to go to school. One day he was walking down the hallway and he bumped into a girl and he helped her pick up her notebooks and he looked at her and thought she was cute.
He looked into her eyes and got a feeling he had never gotten before, he asked if he could walk her to class and they started talking, as the days went by he started falling for this girl he started going to school every single day just to see her. He started worrying about his physical image so he started going to the gym, he started dressing nicer. Not only that he was also starting to feel happiness in his heart this girl was really changing him and they weren't even dating. A few weeks went by and he finally gained enough confidence to ask her to be his girlfriend and she said yes and his heart started pounding with happiness. He started realizing that there was more to life than just being sad and depressed.
She started going with him to all his therapies and she started helping him with his school work. He started changing so much that his parents saw a big improvement in his mood and his grades. He found better influences that would always support him and help him do good in life. He found a meaning to his life and it was all thanks to that beautiful girl he bumped into. He started to communicate more with his parents and he started talking to more people at school.
Two years later his girlfriend was sitting in the bleachers looking at him walk up the stage to receive his high school diploma. His girlfriend and His parents were all there clapping and shouting with joy as they saw him receive his Diploma. But he didn't feel accomplished yet he wanted to do something to help teens like him get out of that black hole they have been living in.
He went to college and studied hard just to achieve his goals. 4 years later he found himself starting up his own business called “We are here to listen” he named it like this because many teens feel like nobody is there to listen to them and he wants to let them know that they are actually heard if they speak. He was so happy when he saw all those teens walking in to get help. His number one co worker was his girlfriend that same girl that he bumped into that one day at school. A few months later he finally got to marry her and he made her his wife. He felt so much happiness and peace inside him and he remembered something. He went to his parents and thanked them for saving his life that one day, he said he was thankful because if it wasn't for them he wouldn't of accomplished all of the things he has done and he wouldn’t have been able to meet the love of his life. He continued on with his life helping teens get back on track,Starting his own family, and giving his parents and his wife the love he was never able to give them before. He can finally say he accomplished his Goals.
The point of this story is to let everyone that is having a hard time in life know that they are not alone. there is always going to be someone that is willing to listen and help you. Never let a bad day ruin the rest of your days always look at the good in life and realize that you have much more to live for.

I wrote this piece to show what type of things go in in a teenagers life, how alone they fell and all the things they go through such as peer preassure and non listening parents.
