Prove a point he take the shot and. Xavi which short Xavier I’m youngest my brother is famous where we live. The first three years of high school the football team won state and he got Mr. Football each three years and me I’m a freshman that nobody know until they hear my last name. Gold and you would think famous older brother is cool but it not. Because people ask you about him. But this year I got make name for myself everyone wants me to be like my older brother my family, teachers, and coaches see him as perfect high school student. But to me he just normal jock that get the grades by tricking people to do his work. I don’t how nobody sees this but me because we take some of same classes. I put all hard work to stay in the class and he just sit there and kick back do nothing for about hour at lunch is only time we are friends because we to open campus so get lunch from other places. But today was different he told me stay after met him at soccer fields. Which I thought was weird because not one of us plays soccer. When I get there and so was soccer team and he told me to be the manager of soccer team because I got cut from soccer team. I get watch and give water out the team In my mind wanted to say no I’m pushover but since he did all this I took job because didn’t want my brother look down on me. I came home my mom said good job son I heard the good news. I said about what she that since first team your on for high school we go out and u go anywhere u want so I said go to pizza world but can we go any day but today she ok it whenever wanting to go I take u ok that sound great. But then I remember that was last place I had fun with my dad before he died he got during drive-by outside old place where used live.
I remember that day like it was yesterday I and my brother were playing and my dad us go inside because loud music then it stop when open the door and slam it all you heard was BOOM! Our friends dad told us to stay inside as he called 911 he said someone has been shot when ambulance got there he almost died when got hospital he told us before died in his bed we have never failed him and that he will be there for us even in death. So promise him before he died I would when a championship before I die and tryout for soccer team and got cut I was heartbroken but now I have second chance to make my dad proud. I don’t want so like bad person but someone get kick off the team so I can do something I wanted to do my whole life.

First game of the season we play rival mount blood tigers and they play dirty so they score was tied 1-1 we are in overtime we started to make push to score one our best shooter goes for the goal and get kick in his ankle and all you hear is a POP! And I look to see his everything ankle down is twisted and the wrong way and crowd get quite they called 911 they ambulance get there and we PK to win the game. We here the next day at practice and coach tells us it be while before he will be able to walk again.so at end of practice and coach said Xavi do you  want to play on team since ted out for rest of the season. and I gladly said yes but when I got home my mom said why u look so happy so I said I’m on the soccer team as player but said I will have to work my way to a lot of playing time so when I got to practice next day coach said playing 1 on 1 after we warm up and coach Xavi is now newest member of our team. Everybody stop talking and just look at me and said not one word then went back to whatever they were doing at first . I got feeling that I wasn’t wanted on this team so after practice I told my mom I would walk home since did stay far from school. I just started thinking if really wanted be on this team because I don’t want be weakest link on the team so I ask my brother when he got what first high school practice was like he told it was not easy nobody really wanted you on team tell you prove yourself to them that you can hold your own to start as freshman that you not the weakest link that can raise to stage and make something out of nothing that when count u will take and make the shot you will do whatever have to do to help the team win at any cost if have put your body on the line but at end of the your still part of the team win, tie or loss we are still family no matter what. Fast forward to a cold October the start of the county playoffs which led to state which is best four teams in whole state it team in county start on the first  Monday of October but we are last seed so we play on that Monday we play against  top seed in the county the state newspaper said we are biggest underdog in the state to try win it all but look here team it going to be hard but we still have chance to be great and make a name for our self and get school back on map for one of the best in school in state at soccer but it start on Monday we got play as team and not try be the superman of team because we play as one because when play as team we win as team that how we made to playoffs why change it now so who with me.

Game 1 top seed BHS what we thought was going to be the hardest game but we blow them out by ten come to find out we played there second team so I guess u can say we got lucky later that week in Game 2  we play Skyhawk we won 3-0 in shootout after extra time 2 days later Game3 Semi-Final 2-0 we won we to state for second  time since 1970 and game played on Friday night on live TV all over country                                                                                                                                                                                             
And play the Brownsburg Browns which same who won state last year by 10 goals a state record so this was going a hard fought game to win state Friday rolls around we take bus because at play usc soccer field which is about good hour and 30min drive we get and place is pack is college coaches from D1 schools out here and then I saw the head coach from Stanford and star player Jordan Morris are I knew that this well be special night from somebody from each team I hope that person is me the game start the crowd is loud there into it you could hear them from mile away by end of first half score 0-0 both team 10 shots none on goal when second half start we get about 20 min browns scored now it 0-1 the next 10 min we scored tied 1-1 now we in last two min nobody scored we go into a shootout they make one we make one we go back and forth 3 more times they shoot and they miss the crowd get quite now my turn I have team on back if I make this shot we win the for first time since in school history  I know that if make this shot I will go down as one of the best players in school history and make name for myself  I take the shot it curve and hit post goes in WE WIN! Confetti shoot out everywhere fireworks go off the horn of the scoreboard for last time and banner says Franklin High School state champs and from that day on I had my name in school everybody knew who I was not just my brother let just say ay awards night somebody getting M.V.P.
