The Game that was Ruined
Tweet! The biggest game of my life has just started. The red and white stadium was humongous. There was fans were everywhere. The field was dark green with white lines everywhere. The goals were well spread apart from each other, both on each end of the pitch. Today’s game had the two team’s Real Madrid against Barcelona. The game started and we started to kick the ball around. I ran as fast as lightning to get to the “through ball” that Seth played brilliantly to me. I took a touch and found myself face to face with the keeper. I shot the ball with great power and scored. It went into the top right corner. The crowd went wild like they haven't seen anything like it before! My teammates went crazy about my goal. It’s 1 to 0 with only 40 minutes left of the first half. The sun was shining down on the soccer field and the waves were crashing outside of the stadium. The other team did there kick off and we set up for defense. Running, sliding, and pushing we tried our hardest to defend them. My shirt was a little torn already and I have a grass stain. My jersey is red and blue with stripes and my pants are blue too.
The other team are little kids, always energetic when playing. But then, we fouled them bad and gave them a penalty.
“ Guys don’t put your heads down, we are still in this!” I yelled. Ronaldo was the guy who stepped up to take the penalty. Are goalies feet pounding, ready to save the penalty. Tweet, the referee blew his whistle. Ronaldo ran up to the ball and pounded it. Bang! The ball hit the crossbar and the keeper came out too early and Real Madrid came in and headed the ball into the net. It’s now 1 to 1 and that was the final play of the half. We walked to the locker room with our heads down because we know we should be winning. The mad coach, aggravated and infuriated, pounded us with his thoughts about the game.
“ Let's go! I want you guys to get them from the start!” He screamed. We walked back out to the excited crowd. The turf still really green and the stands completely full. The really good team walked out onto the field and we set up in our positions. Then all of a sudden a wave, a huge mass of water, rose from the ocean. I started to warn everyone about the wave as fast as I could. I thought about my parents, and how sad they would be to hear that I died from a tsunami. I was running from the tsunami, telling people to get out of here, and getting out of the stadium. Just then the wave crashed inside the stadium and ruined everything. I was devastated because the stadium was ruined and everything was gone. But just as the waved passed us I went back into the stadium and looked everywhere, it was rubble.
My coach came up to me and told me that we will not be able to play soccer for a year because everything was ruined. I was really sad to hear that, then I heard a tweet. Tweet, the biggest game of my life has just ended.

What made me write this story is I like to play soccer and one of my favorite soccer teams is Barcelona so I included them.
