The sirens started going off. She never thought she would be in this situation. They always did the drills at school but she never thought that an actual situation like this would happen. There was a big storm headed toward their city. She wouldn’t show that fact that she was scared but inside she was really freaking out. The only thing that went thru her mind was her family so she started texting her parents and brother. After an hour she decided to go look for her brother.            Before she got  up her best friend Kenneth came up to her and said,” I don’t know if we'll survive this or not but just in case we don’t I have to tell you and get this off my chest, so you know how you were talking to Zeke and thing were getting serious between you two, well I really like you and basically I know what he doesn’t like/ what he finds unattractive in a girl so I told him a bunch of lies about you like that you have dated like half of the guys in this school and that you aren’t loyal when you are in a relationship so that he wouldn’t be interested in you.” Her face turned red, filled with anger. She felt like punching him in the face. She really liked Zeke and things were going very well between both of them .She took and deep breath to calm down all the anger built inside of her and replied,” Stay away from me from now on if these are our last few hours alive then I don’t want to see you at all and if we survive this then never ever try to talk to me.” She walked away and went back to try to look for her brother.
Her teacher Ms. Douglas stopped her and said.” You can’t leave this bathroom you have to stay in here.” She replied,” I don’t care , I am going to go find my brother ,if these are my last few hours alive I surely do not want to spend them with you and your negative attitudes I prefer to spend them with my brother. Then Ms. Douglas said,” You know what fine go risk your life, I don't care” then she directed herself to everyone in the bathroom ,” I don’t care what happens to any of you ,I don't like any of you the only reason why I decided to be a teacher and decide to work here was because of Mr. Hudson ,I've always liked him but he never payed attention to me ,now he’s happily married with three kids and I am a lonely women with two cats.” Everyone just froze, shocked at what at Ms. Douglas had just said.
With the confessions that Kenneth and Ms. Douglas said it got her thinking that she should do that too. She looked down the hall and saw this guy named Freddy who people called Farty Freddy. She went up to him and said,”Hey so I have to confess something to you. So you know how people call you Farty Freddy and well I know that it wasn’t you that farted that day in gym because it was me. I was super embarrassed after I farted and you were the closest person to me so I blamed it on you. I’m really sorry Farty Freddy I mean Freddy but Zeke was in that class and I didn’t want him to think that I was gross or something.” Freddy was filled with anger and screamed at her ,”Oh my glob. I knew it I knew it was you. I was positive that I had not farted. Do you know how hard it has been these last few year with people calling me Farty Freddy every single day? ”She just stood there shocked at the fact that he screamed at her. Freddy is a very quiet person never would she had thought that he was going to scream at her. She didn’t even say anything she just mouthed “I’m really sorry” and walked away. So many things were going through her mind now. Then she heard someone scream her name it was Levi. He ran up to her and hugged her and said.” I love you I love you I love you I am so sorry if I was really annoying I love you I love you I love you. “His whole body was shaking as he hugged her.
After an hour the principal came and said that the storm passed already. She was so happy to hear this news but then she thought about how she was going to face Kenneth, Ms. Douglas, and Freddy tomorrow.
