Spy Mission
It was a beautiful sunny morning and the sun was shining so bright it was blinding. The birds are chirping and stretching their wings getting ready for a long eventful day ahead of them. A innocent man walking down the street with a cup of coffee in his hands not knowing what in the world is going to happen to him today. Well I do, the organization assigned me to him about a week ago. They believe he's been robbing donuts from the donut shop on 96th street. They have all kinds of donuts there, like jelly filled, sprinkled, and my favorite glazed. At the end of the week they usually have about 5 boxes of 5 different kinds of donuts missing and half of the donut of the week stocks pile gone. One major clue I've managed to peep is he goes to the donut shop about 3 times a week to get coffee, but never gets a donut with it, which is pretty weird. Well he wouldn't need to get one if he has all those boxes of donuts back wherever he's keeping them. The suspect leaves the coffee shop and i decide to follow. He already starts getting more suspicious as he turns the corner into an alley. I wait about 30 seconds before turning in to follow him so he doesn't see that I'm following him. When i go to turn i am surprised by someone who is turning out but it's not the suspect. My heart is practically beating out of my chest when he asks me "Going anywhere?" "No just strolling around you know .." as I start walking down the sidewalk, as soon as I cut the corner I pull out my phone to text my boss. I tell HIM the suspect has disappeared and maybe a new one has come up. He texts back instantly and tells me to meet him in his office and I do what's told of me before I get fired like back in the summer '09 when I showed up and hour late after he told me. I get to headquarters and knock on the bosses office door but no answer, I jiggle on the knob and the door opens so I walk in. I Scan the room looking for him and call his name but no answer. As I'm looking around the room I see a box of donuts. I notice they are marked 96th street donuts on the box. I decide to help myself to one just cause they look so perfectly glazed & I don't think he'll mind since he has so many boxes in his storage that I can see from the glass. Then it hit me. I realized it was the end of the week, i get closer to the glass to try and count the boxes. There were 5 piles of boxes with 5 boxes in each pile & each pile was labeled a different kind of donut. It wasn't a coincidence at all. MY BOSS WAS THE THIEF!! I soon realized I yelled it out when someone says "congratulations, you finally figured it out." & I turn around to see it was my boss. "So its been you this whole time?" I ask him. "Well it took ya long enough."
"What do you mean? This was all a set up?"
"Well, i mean, basically, i was stealing donuts and i didn't want anyone know, but once word got out i knew a case would've been filed out, it was, you were assigned so I gave you a fake suspect & here we are."
"Well you do realize I'm going to have to report you as the thief to this case."
"That's why I'm here to make sure no one hears from you again."
As soon as he says that a controller is pulled out his back pocket and he pushes a button, i am immediately hung upside down over a giant bucket of sharks. I am screaming my lungs off hoping anyone walking by the office hears but my hope is steady fading as I am getting lowered closer and it's gone as I hit the water and all I see is the water turning red until I cant see anything else.
