Pink Painted in the Sky
Into the cold, brisk, and winter night.
The sun is almost going,
With just small strokes of pink painted into the sky.
Goosebumps start flooding my arms,
It feels like a wave is engulfing my body like at the ocean.
There is a couple taking a stroll on the dark path,
Talking so low as if they do not want anyone to hear.
A guard is watching from behind the shed,
His eyes are watching like a hawk.
The silent winter wind rattling the trees,
Making circles with the leaves.
