The prologue
Humans don’t understand. You see, they are very stiff minded, they believe in one thing and they have a very hard time if they are proven otherwise. I am definitely not human, but I can look like one if I have to. I protect humans.
There are monsters all around, but the humans can’t see them. They could if they believed, but they don’t believe, not in monsters, not in magic, not in anything. They believe in trash, polluting the environment. They believe that technology is magic. In my opinion humans ought to pay attention to the world around them. They think men are better than women, plastic is a miracle invention, and would prefer looking at screens to thinking about the world around them.
