Mission (preface)
Mission is my home, my protector, my sacturary. None of us who live here really understand what goes on out there in the rest of the world. We're too afraid to step an inch out of the border. We won't even go out a mile in the ocean, afraid there might be an invisible line that shocks us, or kills us... or worse. But still, despite everything, people want out. I'm not like the rest. I'm not constantly trying to find a way out, or find out who did this to us, or try to unlock The Door. I sit still, I stay quiet, and I wait. I do what They want. The truth is, I know a lot more than anyone else here. I won't tell, though, those are the rules if you want to stay alive in Mission.
