Prey (Part Six)
So, for a few days I laid low. Then, people came out three-fold, and so did I. It happened again, then again. It became a routine after a while, an adaptation.
There they were again and again. Forbes and the officer, talking in the control center. Tonight I went to see if anything was different, like I always do every fourth night. Only tonight was different. What happened was worse than I thought, as I would soon find out. The door closed.
