(Knock on door. Meagan walks over to the door.)
Meagan: Who is it?
Haley: it’s just me, Haley.
Meagan: Oh! Come on in!
Haley: Today is the big day, are you excited?
Meagan: Ehhh…
Haley: What do you mean “ehhh”? You’re getting married!
Meagan: I am starting to second guess this.
Haley: Why do you say that?
Meagan: I just don’t know if I am ready yet.
Haley: That’s just your nerves talking, now get dressed!
Meagan: What if this marriage doesn’t work out? I have only been with Dylan for a year.
Haley: Trust me, you will be fine!
Meagan: Oh my gosh this is such a tough decision.
Haley: Shut up and get dressed! You’re talking crazy.
Meagan: I can’t go through with this.
Haley: If you don’t put that dress on and go out there and get hitched, you are going to regret it the rest of your life.
Meagan: I’m not ready yet, I need to call this off. Will you go tell Dylan that I am not marrying him today?
Haley: No. You’re a big girl, you can tell him yourself. You’re the one calling it off, not me.
Meagan: Yeah, you are right. I’ll just leave him a note and put it on the desk!
Haley: I think you should tell him face to face.
Meagan: I’ll write this note then I will go talk to him.
Haley: You’re going to break his heart.
Meagan: I know…
Haley: Well I have to go talk to the bridesmaids, I will be back in 5. When I get back you better be talking to Dylan about this.
Meagan: Alright, I am going to in a couple minutes.
(Five minutes passes and Haley returns to the room to find a note on the desk and the window wide open. She realizes Meagan left before telling Dylan and now she has to break the news to him.)
(Haley talking to herself.)
Haley: She always makes me do her dirty work.
