What will happen when Elizbeth Giles and Danielle Kirk are alone in a restruant and several people are murdered. Who is the killer and how will they escape?

Chapter 1: The Waiter

“Bill Please.” Elizabeth waved her hand at a passing waiter, who nodded to her before heading back inside. There was something nervous about his hurried, staggering gait that didn’t seem right.
As the bald waiter teetered towards the table, his eyes rolled back in his head and bits of foam were present at the corners of his mouth. He dropped the bill on the table and turned. Just after he took his first step away, the waiter fell straight forward and body slammed the tile.  Danielle, Elizabeth’s friend who joined her for dinner, hurried over and placed a hand on the still waiter’s chest. With a solemn glance, she said, “His heart isn't beating.”

Chapter 2: The Phone and The Bill

Shocked, her blonde friend ran over to join Danielle on the floor next to the dead man after uttering a cry for help. The restaurant was deserted and a single lightbulb flickered; like something from a horror movie. The bill was still clenched in Elizabeth’s hand as Danielle whipped out her flip phone, brunette curls flying. Her brown eyes stared into Elizabeth’s pale blue ones before tapping three buttons. 9-1-1
It rang once before abruptly stopping. Startled, Danielle jammed the keys on the phone again and again; all coming up with  the same no signal response.  The whole time, Elizabeth was staring at the crumpled bill in her petite hand. In her haste, to join her friend, the blonde had knocked over a water glass on the table, spilling all over the thin piece of paper and making the ink run. However there were three words from the waiter clearly visible. Liz repeatedly shook Danielle’s shoulder, wordlessly trying to catch her attention. Finally she shoved the paper into her friend’s clammy hands. Danielle’s breath caught in her throat as she read out the three words visible. “Poison, run and murder”

Chapter 3: More Dead People??

Both girls stood up in unison and ran through the empty restaurant to the closest exit. They shook the door furiously but it wouldn't budge, due to the key broken in the lock. Cold with fear,  Elizabeth ran into the kitchen calling for help.”Somebody please help!” she cried.

Salty tears streamed down her cheeks at the sight before her. No one was around except
for an old chef slumped over the grill, presumably dead. Shocked with the horrific scene before her eyes, Liz rushed away; but not before taking notice of the door that had a padlock on it.
The reality soon crashed down upon the friends. they were stuck in a restaurant with dead people and no way to get help. Elizabeth frantically paced across the tile, boots scuffing as she went about, mumbling underneath her breath. Her brunette friend searched the cabinets and counter tops before coming to one conclusion. The cashier was nowhere to be seen.

Chapter 4: What's Next, Homicide?

                  *         *          *

I slowly clenched and unclenched my hands as my blue eyes stared across the practically empty room. It was now twelve o’clock at night and no one was coming to help. The restaurant was out of town and our phones were not working. Turning my worried gaze to Danielle’s fluffy hair and spindly figure searching the area, I saw something. The cash register was sticking open slightly and upon further inspection, was jammed. As stubborn as I was, I grabbed the nearest thing I could find to pry it open, a small bobby pin out of my handbag. As I strode over to the counter my fast pace caught Danielle’s attention. “What the heck are you doing, putting up your hair?”she asked with an agitated tone.
With a deliberate roll of my eyes, I replied “Something is stuck in the register and I need to get it open and see if it can help us.”
In response, she smirked and hopped upon the counter top before saying, “Be my guest, though that is just a bobby pin and you are not James Bond.”
“Haha very funny” I dryly replied.
After a while of struggling on my part, Danielle smiled and banged her fist on the top of the register. Immediately, the drawer popped open and my mouth dropped at the sight before me. Blood was splattered all over the money in the register and a sick looking knife was shoved in there. In the middle of all that, was a key that looked like it would go to a very familiar padlock.

Chapter 5: Secret Rooms

Grimacing, I grabbed a napkin and used it to pick up the key. Slowly, I looked over at Danielle who was nowhere to be seen but the bathroom door did just slam shut. I made the connections as the unpleasant sound of Danielle losing her dinner reached my ears. Without her, I headed back into the kitchen and used the key to open the room. What met my eyes was a secret room and a police officer tied up. Rushing to his aid, I untied him. He smiled at me before saying “I can handle this”.

Chapter 6: Who murdered who again? Wait, this can't be the end!

So, who murdered who? Well I never found out that night but I am sure there is more to it than there seems to be.
