The Mirror
It was a dark stormy morning, a very rare weather in Texas. Amanda groaned swiping her finger against her phone turning the alarm off for the third time. Julie, her step mom banged on her bedroom door since Amanda locks it every night for some privacy.
“Hon, it's time to wake up!”
“Oh my god why?” She whined putting the pillow over her head trying to go back to sleep. Julie grinned going back down-stairs before the microwave pancakes burned like every Monday morning. Amanda groaned for the second time stumbling into the bathroom. Suddenly, as she turned on the light looking at her reflection but yet it looking slightly different. Her body in the mirror trembling pointing behind her with a scared expression.
