Assuming
You laugh and play
you smile and talk
you even play hit each other.
But me?
I sit and fake smile,
I've had a lot of practice.
You assume it is real.
But look through it.
It hides pain and suffering.
All the thoughts,
All the teasing,
All the bullying.
You assume all the thoughts are happy.
You assume I'm coming up with a story.
You assume everything is all happy and dandy.
Well don't assume.
Nothing is happy.
No stories, nothing happy and dandy.
The smile is fake.
It hides the real me.
