My Pieces
My broken pieces scattered
In the hands of many.
I need them back.
My tears-
They replace the loss
They all made by leaving me.
But I’m the only one paying the cost.
I suffer because I guess I wasn’t
Good enough,
I’ve learned I don’t deserve anyone’s love.
Call me a coward if you want,
But that won’t change the pain
I feel an awful lot.
It’s like someone shook up my head
With a powerful smack
Breaking me,
So that my broken pieces
Are scattered in the hands of many.
And I really do need them back.
