I’m Leavin’ it: The Dollar Menu Trap
I wholeheartedly agree with Emma Barnes and her article I’m Leavin’ it: The Dollar Menu Trap because why is the cost of fast food cheaper than healthy produce? For many low-income families or even people who don't have time settle on cheap sugary drinks and fast greasy food. I can relate to this because i come from a low income family with two hard working parents. Sometimes they come home tired and prefer to order a cheap pizza and soda, because of this my father was diagnosed with diabetes and my mom was on the verge. Lucky we changed our ways and started to cook healthy food and drink plenty of water. As a teeneger though it is hard sometimes to eat healthy and avoid fast food.
