I Want an Honest Poem

The story, “I Want an Honest Poem” is about how this person wants a poem about people admitting they were wrong and for them to truly be honest. The author wants a poem so honest that it’s a love poem. The author uses so much feeling in their writing and the wording just flows perfectly. This poem was one of my favorites in this Teen Ink edition. I love how this was written and how there was so much feeling put into it. I also like how she used Jekyll and Hyde and Ben Affleck because it adds just a touch of humor into it but also keeps it serious.
