Too Young
Author MyKaella Silva wrote the poem "Too Young" which impacts many of teens. This poem was emotional and inspiring because it explains the difficult reality of being a teenager. Silva explains how we should've been warned of the harsh truth about the teenage life. She goes on to say how people will be judged by the scale the mirror or even media. A very meaning piece in the poem is when she says, "The way we all wanted to be autonomous and the way we believed we could fend for ourselves". This means that no one can really prepare for the harsh reality of being a teenager but we should embrace who we are and how we are because everyone is different and unique in their own way.
