An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming
An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It, by Al Gore is one of the few captivating non-fiction books that I have ever read, and frames the issue of global warming in an unassailable way. I was drawn to the novel and was blasted with the unfortunate reality and a horrible sense of immediate doom. Gore provides an excellent translation of the sophisticated problem at hand and writes it in such a way that an average person would understand.
He also illustrates how terrible global warming was, pointing out specific events, such as how the atmosphere was changing its composition. I would like to praise Gore for his unflawed accuracy in the book; his predictions and inferences are incredibly similar to the situation today. He also provides an exceptional section stating that the end isn’t already present; he instead provides steps to slow down the almost inevitable issue. Overall, An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It is a must-read for any person who remotely cares about the menace at hand: global warming.
