Two Boys and a Leash
I was amazed at how well the selection was written, vivid details kept me reading. This was a terrifying story that really hit home because of how close Halloween is. The imagery used by the author pulled me in and had me feeling like I was actually in the same situation as the boys and their dog. The woods was erie because of the recent storm, and almost seemed alive as if the forest had swallowed up the dog and dissolved it in mist. The story brought on the feel of a ghost story as if it should be told around a campfire.
